May's Verse of Encouragement 2016 + Free Printable

6:00:00 PM

As I mentioned in one of last month's blog posts, I have written a verse of encouragement in my planner for each month this year. If you missed last month's verse, you can check it out here!
This month's verse is Psalm 34:17.

"The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles."

This month's verse is incredibly reassuring. I know I've got a lot scheduled this month between blood work, six different doctors appointments, and everything else I've got going on. It's nice knowing that God has a plan for me and he will deliver me from all of my troubles. I've got goosebumps just thinking about it.

I've mentioned this before, but I struggle with anxiety a lot. I want to cast all of my anxieties on him, but it's easier said than done. So, I just try to take it one day at a time...and I pray a lot!

I'm honestly pretty worried about these next few weeks. I'll be meeting with my Rheumatologist again to discuss the right heart catheterization I had a few weeks ago. I'm sure we'll probably up the dosages of my medications as well. I know we'll be talking about my lungs again, because the office called to let me know I have another CT scan in August. I'm hoping it's not the big 'C' word, but I'm trying not to focus on it. I'll also be seeing a new doctor for the first time. We'll be looking for abnormalities and I'm afraid they might find something. We've got some pretty bad stuff that runs in our family, but the doctors reassured me that it can't be passed down. It didn't really help though, since the three women before me have all had it. I've, of course, taken the preventative measures but I also have multiple autoimmune diseases. I know I can't look at my body as math, but I feel like they cancel each other out. It's overwhelming typing this all out. It almost feels like I'm bringing my fears to life, which is probably why I never say these things out loud.

All I can do is hope and pray that everything turns out ok. I'll be praying a lot this month, not just for me but for each of my readers as well. I try not to be too selfish in my prayers, I talked about it a little in my post, "How I Pray." I hope that you are all doing well and my story is able to help a few of you out there. I know how hard life can be and it's easy to feel alone. If you ever need to talk, but feel like you don't have anyone to talk to, you can always shoot me an email!

Today's free printable looks pretty simple, but it's much more than that. I actually digitalized my own handwriting! I wanted to play around with it and see what it looks like and I actually loved it! Since I've got a shop that sells digital prints, I thought it would be fun to make some of my own fonts. This is the only one I've made so far, but I wanted to share it with you all! This month's free printable isn't as colorful as the rest of them, but I love the simplicity of the black and white against each other :)

    1. Thank you! I haven't found a church yet since we've moved, so I'm glad I still get a little structure :)
