How I Organize My Blog Binder

I've always been an organized person. I have a notebook or binder for everything, as I'm sure you noticed in yesterdays post, "Office Update Under $20."

I've spent the last couple of weeks creating a blog binder and it's finally done! I've been waiting to reveal it so that I could also offer it to you as well. You can now find it in our shop :)

As you can see, I created a cover for my binder. There is also a cover in our shop, but it is not personalized with each blog's name.

If you're interested in creating a blog binder, you will need the following materials:
- Binder
- Binder Sheets
- Dividers
- Pens or Sharpies
- Notebook (optional)

To begin with, I went ahead and printed out all of my sheets including my media kit. I'm glad I did each sheet individually, because after a few of them my printer started running out of ink. Luckily I just had to toss one sheet rather than everything after it.

When looking for a binder, I recommend getting one with a clear front pocket. I also recommend one that can lay flat as well as bend backwards.

The first page in my blog binder is my media kit. I keep this here to see how I'm gradually improving. It's also in the front so it's easy to get to and replace when needed, since my stats are always changing. Most importantly, its easy to find for possible collaborations. I do many reviews (books and products) and the owners sometimes ask for my numbers.

After putting my media kit in the front of my binder, I started working on the binder tabs. My sheets easily divided into eight sections: blog information, daily tasks, collaborations, contacts, content, finances, goals, and notes. I picked up my dividers from Walmart. I think together they were approximately $2. Each set had 5 tabs.

After the notes section, I've had too extra tabs. I don't have them dedicated to anything, but they're there if I need them. You could also use those last two for publications or press your blog has received and for related articles. 

Behind those extra tabs, I included a blank notebook. It bothers me that it doesn't match, but I know that I go through notebooks way to quickly to buy the expensive ones :)
